How to Manage Anonymous User Policy

VIDIZMO allows you to create a custom visitor policy for anonymous (or public) users browsing your site's content. This controls whether they can view and engage with interactivity options such as media sharing, downloading, reporting, and commenting.

Prerequisites

• Users must belong to a group with the Portal Management feature enabled.
• Portal users and visitors can only comment, download, or share media if it is enabled on the Portal as well as on the individual media.

Configure Anonymous User Policy

1. In VIDIZMO, select the Navigation menu.
2. Go to Admin > Portal Settings.
3. Expand the Privacy tab.
4. Select Anonymous User Policy.
5. Configure the following permissions using the toggle buttons:
   • Allow users to download Media
   • Allow users to provide feedback on Media - See How to Report Media
   • Allow users to share Media link via Email - See How to Share Media via Email
   • Allow users to view Comments - See How to Comment on Media
6. Select Update.
